Blogging about the Prince concert, beer, and some other stuff. I just wrote it a minute ago, and I honestly don't remember what I said. Wow, if that isn't a sign of exhaustion, I don't know what is.

Also, check out my awesome new hotsex icon. It's Robbie! It's Nicole! It's Robbie and Nicole together!

*hands over coffee and/or an eye mask so you can take a nap* Prince. Whooo! Sounds like you had a great time. After reading the blog, I saw the Art button (which I failed to check out when you posted about it) - I'm impressed. I love the watercolor of the perfume bottle. :)

yippee skippy!

Howdy. Glad the concert was awesome. Wish I could have been there. But here's my question-- do you even REMEMBER Morris Day? I mean, you were, like, 4 years old. When Doves Cry was MY introduction to pure, unadulterated sex in music-- oh well. Maybe I'm just jealous.

Have fun with Mom and Dad and Donna and Edie and the kids tonight. Good to hear you're actually at work!!!

Finally, I just found out that my good buddy Bob lost his job a while ago, and although he's teaching graphic design at the school he graduated from (both Schaumburg and Chicago campuses), he's also forced to wait tables to make ends meet. If you (or any of your friends) know of any graphic design jobs in the Rockford area (although I'd guess he may consider commuting back into the city...), please let me know. I know you're interested in getting into that field, but if there are any positions out there that don't seem right for you, Bob's just the best!

Dude! Of COURSE I remember Morris Day and the Time! I have a few of their songs on mp3, and I've seen them ... I don't remember where, but I've seen their videos and stuff. Enough that I could sing along with a few of their songs.

And remember, when you were having your introduction to Prince and his hotsex music, I was definitely with it enough to understand there was something going on. I distinctly remember seeing that video and thinking, "Whoa. What's THIS?" I didn't quite catch on, but I knew Mom wouldn't approve of me seeing the video. Then there was George Michael's "I Want Your Sex," and then 2 Live Crew's "Me So Horny," and it all went downhill from there.

I'll keep that in mind with Bob, and I'll let you know if I hear of anything worthwhile. Poor Bob. Tell him I say hi!
