Um, did you completely miss the point where a) I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY, ANYWAY, and b) this is more of a kick in the ass for me to start saving than it is for me to actually buy? I can't afford that shit, I KNOW I can't afford that shit. But this makes me want to save so that I CAN afford that shit.

Also? The cost of living and housing is cheaper where you are than in Chicago. Not a whole lot, but it's still cheaper. Secondly, I don't want to live in the suburbs. I'm making a choice to live in or very near to the city, which means smaller homes for more money. I am completely aware that this is the way things work, but you know what? That's the way I want things.
