Ours is the only confirmed canceled flight from O'Hare this morning. We're going to be at the airport at 6 a.m., hoping to somehow catch standby on already-booked flights. We'll also be fighting for seats with everyone who's been stranded overnight.

If we can't catch standby tomorrow, we're scrapping the whole thing and going on vacation some other time.

Thank God for travel insurance. Please, keep your fingers crossed.
