TV time!
For once we got home in time to watch both How I Met Your Mother and Heroes. Good times!
How I Met Your Mother
Seriously, how is it that people don't think this is the funniest show on TV? "Slapsgiving?" Awesome. Nothing beats the Slap Bet. NOTHING. That's the funniest reoccuring gag on a TV show since EVER. Between that and Old Bob, the Scientist and I were both very amused. This show is laugh-out-loud funny. And Jason Segel sings! (You can watch his "video" for "You Just Got Slapped" here.)
Oh, and if any of you HIMYM fans want to gank this icon, feel free. Just give me credit. ;)
Heroes
Seriously, last night's episode was pretty damn good. The whole bit with HRG trying to protect Claire was awesome. I especially liked when he tied up Elle and put her feet in water so she'd electrocute herself. HRG is the bigest badass around, and I love him. Of course, the Scientist knew that Claire's blood would bring him back from the dead after he was shot in the eye, so that wasn't really a surprise. But still! Badass HRG makes this show 1000 times better.
Matt Parkman is officially moving into jerkwad territory, which makes me sad. I love Parkman. And Mohinder better be playing the super-double-cross here or I'll be pissed at him, too. As for Hiro and George Takai, I love their scenes together. Though if Hiro goes back in time to his mom's funeral and has contact with himself as a boy, wouldn't that like, negate both of their existences? deeablo had issues with this same principle, which spawned her "baby Superman theory" in the first place... Oh well, whatever. The show's entertaining again, that's what matters.
