Beats me, but I have to totally agree on the "meh" of it all lately. It just seems like the characters are off. Like the episode when they all got together to watch Robin's early-morning TV show, and no one watched it? How terrible are these friends? Lily was relegated to simply having hiccups this past episode. Not that she's my favorite character, but still. Lame. And then there's Ted, asking Robin to be his backup wife when they hit 40? What is THAT about? LAME. The only character who seems relatively consistent from episode to episode is Marshall.
