Ugh.

I feel like someone is punching their fist into my abdomen, grabbing all of my guts, and twisted as hard as possible. I'm going home at 2. (I had a random 3 hours of time from the day the Scientist went to the hospital, and I'm taking them, darnit!) I told my boss what was going on, and he said that if the abdominal cramping started today, it will most likely feel worse tomorrow. Awesome! I can't wait!

I hate food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and suck down liquids like a fiend, even if you don't want to. Dehydration on top of food poisoning SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS. And totally necessitates a trip to walk-in care for an IV. I say this with much, MUCH authority.

(Feel better!)

Good to know. Last night I didn't eat much dinner, but was craving grapes. Afterwards, I wanted water. I should go get some water from the drinking fountain now. I know I haven't had enough liquids today -- I didn't even finish my morning coffee.

If you can, choke down some Gatorade at some point too. Even a few sips is good as electrolytes, etc. Also, seriously, SERIOUSLY up your fluid intake. I think the whole dehydration during food poisoning thing was the most MISERABLE I'd ever been in my entire life. And that includes the three times I've had the stomach flu. And been attacked by hornets.

Definitely take care of yourself and if you think you need to go to the doctor GO. Do not put it off, do not waffle, just get your ass in the car and go.
