Monkey!

So as a housewarming/Christmas/whatever present, deeablo gave me this fabulous monkey lamp. It's kind of a thing -- my bedroom is done in monkeys on one side, and The Nightmare Before Christmas/Buffy on the other. (When you view the room from the doorway, it looks totally normal. It's only once you're in and turn around that you see the craziness doesn't match.) Anyway, so deeablo gave me this great light-up monkey lamp, and only afterwards did we realize it's part of a set. So I went on eBay to try to find the other two; right now I only have "hear no evil." And look what I found: the entire set! Now with creepy glowing red eyes! Eeeeeeeee! I'm almost considering contacting this person if the sale closes without bidders, to see if they'd be willing to break up the set. Because these are awesome.

If anyone knows where I can buy these separately, let me know. I'm going nuts trying to find these online. Now, if they were frogs, I'd be in business. But who's heard of see/speak/hear no evil frogs? Pfffft.

I'm very happy for you. I'm even happier that I don't have to sleep in the same room as that freaky monkey. The monkey, itself, is cute. It's the eyes that get me.

The one I gave you doesn't have the red glowing eyes, does it? I think I'd remember that.

Also, there are no bids as of yet. Perhaps at the end of this cycle, the seller will lower the price and offer the lamps again.

Nope, no glowing, creepy, demonlike red eyes. That's a good thing.

And yeah, I'm hoping the seller will lower the price or consider splitting up the set. And then maybe I can just chisel out the red eyes, because EEEEEEEEEEEEE!
