And all is well with the world
Had a good night. Went out with a huge gang of people for my belated birthday shindig thing. Me, Shan, BJ, his ex-roommate Matt, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
deeablo, Blondie, spasticat, taraljc, xica_s, Colleen, Margaret, Gianna and her hubby Donovan, and Dan and his two friends Nicole and Ashley. We all went to Moody's for pitchers and burgers, and it was good. A little cold, but we had no problems getting tables, or service. So yay! Then after people started heading home, spasticat, xica_s, Margaret, BJ, Matt, and I went to some German bar in Lincoln Square. Then I drove Margaret home, and then me, Matt, and BJ went to IHOP at 1 a.m. No leathermen this time, although there were some cowboys. Now I'm back at BJ's, and he's waiting me to get off the damn computer so he can go to bed. It was a fun night. And I got presents, which was totally unexpected. (None of you had to do that, you know! But thank you!) Oh, and there were birthday presents from evil_man and icebun as well, in the form of Kiwi chocolate and a Robbie Williams t-shirt. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Thank you two SO MUCH!!! I can't wait to meet you. Me, spasticat, and deeablo were talking about where we want to take you when you visit. Yay!
So thanks to everyone who came for a really fun night. I enjoyed it immensely. Y'all rock.

And yes, I'm really excited to meet you. I realized yesterday that I have an old friend coming in from California that same time, but she'll be downstate, so I'm going to have to cancel to see you. The way I figure it, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hang with you.
