Only slightly freaking out
So the interview is tomorrow at Nystrom. I really, really, really hope this job is what I want it to be. And if it is, then I really, really, really hope I get it. Because seriously, working for a company that makes maps for schools? And globes? And learning packets based on maps and globes? That's AWESOME. Please please PLEASE send me some good juju tomorrow at 10 a.m. Because getting this job would make me a million kinds of happy. I still have to finish organizing my portfolio (Gianna gave me some good tips on that one today), and then iron my clothes for tomorrow morning. I'm wearing my neat white shirt with the black and silver pinstripes and my Lex-cut black jacket with the red pinstripes. I should look suitably professional, but with a side of funky. Here's hoping I don't go in with a big gob of cat hair on my butt. So I'm not quite freaking out yet, but I sort of am. I haven't been this nervous about anything in quite a while. But I'll be calm. And I'll have a glass or two of wine tonight.
In other news, the official Serenity board wouldn't accept one of the icons I submitted. I guess it's the nudity that was questionable. But come on. There's not even ass in that shot. Also, if it's been seen on the show, then why not on the website? Pfffft. I blame the FCC.
