Sorry to be all one-note in my LJ lately, but... I am slowly going insane. It seems we're still in negotiations. They didn't like our last offer and countered at $205. The Scientist countered back, but not as high. He's hoping to get the house for $203. But we haven't heard anything since then. Nothing. It's been nearly 24 hours, and NOTHING. I hope that means they're seriously considering dropping the price some more, and not dropping our bid completely. I just wish I knew.

So yeah, I'm just sitting here at work, trying to focus (though I did get two more books out today), and waiting for a call. And slowly going insane as well.

I read today that Chicago is No. 5 of the top 5 cities for homebuyers (according to Forbes.com). So even if this one doesn't pan out, someplace even more awesome will.

Walk away. Treat it like you would an eBay auction. A really freaking huge eBay auction, but still.
