This weekend I went to see Race to Witch Mountain with the Scientist and
fava_bean. I have to say, this is officially my ultimate Baby Superman movie.
At one point near the end, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (who was the real reason fava and I went in the first place) was running around in a tight-sleeved t-shirt. fava leaned over and whispered "[His arms] just made up for everything that's come before now in this movie." Truer words, people.
At least we didn't have to pay for it.
***
In other news, Friday night while the Scientist was working I stayed home and finished Bone Crossed. It's not the best of the Mercy Thompson books by any means, but I still enjoyed it. I definitely enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than Jim Butcher's Grave Peril, which I just cannot seem to force my way through. Oh well.
