Prince is a GOD!!!

So xica_s and I just got back from the Prince concert, and OMG he's FUCKING AWESOME!!! Seriously, if you could have orgasms in your ear, I had about three or four. So awesome. What a great show. I actually let out a fangirl scream at one point, and I didn't even know I could make that noise. But dude. So worth every fucking penny.

Also? Prince playing an acoustic version of "Cream" is the sexiest thing ever. I can't believe that weird, short, nymph-like man can be so sexy. He's also an absolutely amazing guitar player.

Afterwards, we sat in the parking lot waiting for it to clear out and got to watch some hoe-ed out woman projectile vomit out of her friends' minivan and onto the ground. Lovely!

I'm debating on trying to get tickets for the Tuesday night show if it's not sold out. Yes, it was that good.

And we will worship again!

We just got tickets to go again tomorrow night. On a whim, we tried Ticketmaster. And you know what? THIRD FUCKING ROW, BITCHES!!! Yeah, I know I just went. And I know I shouldn't spend the money. But fuck it, I just cancelled Netflix, and it's THIRD ROW!!! How can we not do this again?

And yes, the concert was that good.

I am such a squealy fangirl right now, you wouldn't believe it if you heard it. xica_s and I are DYING!!!

If only he'd play "Sexy MF" tomorrow night. *sigh*

Wherein karma bites our asses

So you know how I was just gloating about xica_s and I getting third row tickets to Prince tonight? Well, karma got us good. One exit from the arena all traffic comes to a stop. I paint my nails in the car. We finally roll down the windows and the woman in the car next to us informs us that the show was cancelled. Whoops. So rather than being pissed like everyone around us, we just looked at each other and went, "I'm glad we went last night." And then we laughed maniacally, which was just mean of us. But oh well. So now we'll be seeing Prince sometime in August, I think.

But yeah, I think it's our fault that Prince got a sore throat a half hour before going on stage. Because we were so gloaty towards everyone else.

I feel badly for the people who didn't get to go last night, who were really looking forward to this. I feel sorry for the people who paid the $15 for parking. I feel sorry for the people who were in the arena, had bought drinks and merchandise, and were sitting in their seats waiting. But do I feel sorry for us? Nope.

Plus, we're now hanging with taraljc instead. She's no Prince, but she'll do. ;)
