Ack.

Should have been in bed long ago, but I promised my friend Sarah at work that I'd loan her some DVDs while her husband is away this weekend. So I'm taking three movies she requested to work tomorrow: Solaris, True Romance, and Strictly Ballroom. And then I realized I hadn't watched Strictly Ballroom in forever, so I just popped it in the computer for the backstage dance scene, because that's the hottest thing ever put to film. And then I decided I wanted an icon of that. But then I realized the scene is mainly backlit, so it comes across as too dark for icons (at least for my icon-ing skills this time of night), and so I wanted a different picture. And then the next thing I knew, I was screencapping the whole damn movie. And now I want to make more icons. But for now, I'm just using this one. But damn, do I love this movie. I still get all excited at the end when they're dancing and the music kicks in and it's just YAY! And the first time Scott goes to Fran's house and starts dancing the paso doble and her dad is all pissed but then grandma teaches him how to dance, and how Paul Mercurio's hips move, and ... It's just a great movie. I think y'all should go rent it this weekend. Because it's just that much fun.
