Whoosh!

Drive-by blogging! Not a whole lot, just Movie Dictator stuff, mostly. I forgot some other stuff, like seeing D and her (our) friends from downstate, and finally installing the a/c. But I gotta get back to work, so that's that.

Noooooo!

I just got out my compact to apply some lipstick, and what did I notice in the mirror? That I'm going silver. Not just gray, SILVER. There are a ton of silver hairs popping up all over my head. When did that happen? I know I've always had a few grays, ever since I was about fourteen, but now they're all over! My temples seem to be sprouting silver hairs, and my bangs are full of them. I mean, I know I always said that if I were to go completely gray, I'd want to go silver like my dad's hair. (What's left of it, that is.) I didn't expect it would start so soon, though! I just hit my late twenties, for Pete's sake! And it's not like I can hide this easily. My hair is so dark that anything less than medium brown stands out like mad. I mean, I'd rather have silver than gray, but not yet!

I'm going to have to dye my hair. Poop.

Squee and stupidity

The SQUEEEE comes from the fact that miggy made me an awesome LJ banner. However, the stupidity comes from the fact that I have absolutely no idea how to apply the graphic to my LJ. Is setting this up going to totally kick my ass? I know basic HTML, but somehow I get the feeling that LJ is a whole different ball game. I want a setup something like what sunbrae has. Can anyone help me out, or point me to a tutorial that doesn't read like directions for operating a nuclear reactor? Much thanks to anyone who can help a girl out.
