(no subject)

I feel like it's been forever since I updated. Let's see, what to say? Friday night I stayed home and cleaned my apartment in preparation for Mom coming over on Saturday. Got up at the regular time on Saturday and finished the last of the cleaning. Mom arrived, and we hauled boxes out of the downstairs storage. Christmas has arrived at the eepartment. Got my Christmas village all set up, except for the aliens and bumper cars. (I need another extension cord for those, and one of my bumper cars isn't working.) Mom insisted we hang greenery over the doorways. It actually looks very pretty, but was time consuming. Assembled the new tree, then went to work hanging lights on it. BJ came over last night, as he needed a place to crash what with the toxic fumes in his place due to the new floor finish. We got dinner, then he sat around and watched When Harry Met Sally... while I went crazy trying to find my expensive spacemen ornaments from last year. Ended up crashing around 2 a.m., only to wake up at 10, make pancakes for him and I, and then fall back asleep. (Sorry, Yakgirl, that's why I didn't call you back.) Found a Lifetime movie with Tori Spelling and Tahmoh Penniket (Helo from BSG, aka my Battlestar babydaddy), but just couldn't bring myself to watch. Am now watching The Two Towers on TV, which makes me all nostalgic for Mom & my December LotR outings a few years ago. The tree needs more ornaments. My car is still buried under lots of snow. My apartment is cold. That's about it.
