eee1313: (Secretary - shit.)
I'm exhausted. Yesterday I left the house around 11:30 to pick up [livejournal.com profile] fava_bean. Nabbed her by 11:50 and headed up to the North Side to meet up with BJ at his office. [livejournal.com profile] xica_s called first, already at the Montrose L stop, so we picked her up outside of the Starbucks next door, then went to get cash, then drove back to BJ's office to meet him. Then we hopped the brown line over to Wrigleyville and went to the Cubs game.

First off, our seats were AMAZING. Seriously, really good seats. However, it started raining as we were walking to Wrigley, and it didn't let up all day. So yes, we spent the entire game sitting in the rain. SUCK! And the game itself was horrible. I mean, look at the score. Ouch. But it was fun to be at a game. After the game ended, xica headed home and BJ, fava and I went to have dinner at Debbie & Craig's. We watched a movie called Just Friends that was surprisingly funny. Ended up leaving there around 12:45, I drove BJ and fava home, and came home. That was the point when I ended up putting food back into the fridge and freezer, and then stumbling off to bed in a state of complete exhaustion.

So where does the "::facepalm::" part of this post happen, you ask? This morning I finally emerged from the bed, only to hear a weird noise in my kitchen. "Crap," I thought, "is my fridge breaking?" I turned the corner to find that last night, in my state of complete exhaustion coupled with still being chilled from the rain and just wanting desperately to get into bed, I left the freezer door open. Sonofabitch. I have no idea how badly the food in my freezer is ruined. Not a clue. CRAP. So yes, I will be going grocery shopping today.

I am SUCH a dolt sometimes.
