Super-quick update

• I won a big award at work. It's the quarterly ABC Award (Above and Beyond the Call), and I was nominated for all the work I did at the warehouse back in... October? Yeah, anyway, I won first place. I'm floored, and totally embarassed. I mean, there are so many people I work with who've been getting the shit kicked out of them on a regular basis, and I've been so whiny lately, and then I get this. I'm going to have to nominate some people around here in return.
  
• Instead of seeing Children of Men the other night, we saw Pan's Labyrinth. I really liked this movie, but it was very hard to watch. Visually it was just gorgeous, and the story was great, but it was also very sad and very violent. (This is the first movie in forever I where I actually closed my eyes during a particularly gory bit.) I'd DEFINITELY recommend it, but don't go in thinking it's all sunshine and daisies. It's a hard movie to watch, but very satisfying. And the girl in it is amazing. I love Ofelia.
  
• I had a bit of a stomach thing lately. Blech.
