Last night was the last night of my family altogether in my parents' house. Mom, Dad,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yakgirl, and I all had a very nice dinner together, followed by Father's Day cards/gifts, then belated birthday cake and belated cards/gifts. Then yakgirl showed us pictures of her boys that she took last week at StoryLand. Then we watched some South Park, Dad went to bed, Mom followed suit, and then yakgirl went to sleep as well. It was a nice evening, but kind of bittersweet. Mom leaves tomorrow morning. I've told Dad I'll come back next Sunday to help him paint, as he hates housepainting and I rather enjoy it. And yakgirl will be out in a few weeks for her friend's wedding shower (and my mom might come down, too). So, yeah. I'm doing much better than I thought I would.
Oh, and I got my temporary cap (from the root canal) taken out yesterday and a post put in. It didn't hurt at all, but today I can't open my mouth wide AT ALL. Ouch.
