The greatest news EVER

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES ARE BACK!!!

Thanks to disbelief11 for tipping me off, and to the Starbucks website for the confirmation. As much as this news fills me with glee -- GLEE, I say! -- I will withhold from the purchase and consumption of this season's first pumpkin spice latte. For starters, I don't have any money, and also it's still damn hot outside. Though I may give in tomorrow, as I have to get up early to make it to work early for a stupid meeting. That might be my reward to myself.

Last night the Scientist and I went to see Superbad. It's getting great reviews, and it is funny as hell. But that said, it definitely didn't work for me the way Knocked Up did. All of these Apatow/Rogen movies are described as "crude humor with a heart." But the heart just wasn't as big in Superbad, which was a bit of a disappointment for me. That also might be because I'm not a guy, or a teenager. Have I become too old for teen movies? Again though, let me reiterate that this movie is FUNNY AS HELL. Also, Lizzie from Undeclared was in it, so that's a plus, too. And now I want to get a really ugly dog and name it McLovin, but the Scientist has already shot that idea down. Phooey.
