The weirdness that is my brain

Last night I had a dream where I travelled back in time and met Johnny Depp. It was his post-21 Jump Street days but before Edward Scissorhands, and Johnny was working in a run-down theater doing a vaudeville act with a baby elephant. He was all depressed that his career would never pick up, and he'd be working vaudeville for the rest of his life. I told him not to worry, that someday he'd be a world-famous actor nominated for Academy Awards several times over. I also told him to always take calls from Tim Burton, and to always do what Tim tells him, because Tim's movies would be the backbone of his career. Johnny thanked me for my advice, and then asked what would become of the baby elephant. For that, I had no answer.

Of course, never mind the fact that Edward Scissorhands came out the same year that he quit 21 Jump Street, and therefore Johnny already knew about Burton before leaving the show. Just focus on the idea of Johnny Depp having a vaudeville act with a baby elephant as his partner. I think they had a juggling act.
