December already.
Dec. 1st, 2008 12:01 pmHey everyone! I hope those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a very nice one. And for you Canadians out there, I hope you had a good weekend.

In completely different news, today is World AIDS Day. Some of you already have
katesti on your flist. But for those of you who don't, you should check out this post from her. Kate is a social worker who works with HIV+ women in poverty. Her firsthand experience working every day with HIV/AIDS is both uplifting and depressing. I have little to no experience with HIV/AIDS; an uncle I barely met died from AIDS years ago, and a casual friend is HIV+ but has remained relatively healthy (thank God) years past what doctors expected. So while my experience is minimal, Kate's is extensive and very eye-opening.
