Rain, sleep, rain, sleep, repeat
Mar. 9th, 2009 10:13 amThis was the rainiest weekend. All of that rain was a way to test out our new roof, and thankfully it doesn't leak. Hooray!
Saturday I stayed home and did laundry, because it was raining. I watched part of I Want to Marry Ryan Banks on Lifetime, as it is the TV movie that ALWAYS makes me happy. Saturday night the Scientist and I went to GnR's house to play Mario Kart on the Wii. I officially suck at Mario Kart. But I could kick everyone's ass at Katamari Damacy, so there.
Yesterday was rainy as well, so the Scientist and I didn't go out. We watched The Women on TCM and he was completely horrified by all their behavior. I told him that I think you have to actually BE a woman to fully appreciate the catty glory that is that movie. After that I believe there was napping. Then there was Lego Batman on the PS2, because it was STILL raining. Then more napping. Then over to his parents' house for dinner and watching the new Wonder Woman DVD. Then back home, where we stayed up late and played more Lego Batman because we weren't tired from all the earlier napping.
Seriously, this weekend was a total wash. And I loved it.
Of course, now that it's Monday and I'm back at work, the sun is shining. Go figure.
