Handy website
Apr. 17th, 2009 12:00 pmI mentioned this to
fava_bean on the phone yesterday, and she thought this was really awesome. Therefore, I am sharing it with the rest of you.
When the whole amazonfail thing went down earlier this week, I got rid of my Amazon wishlist. No big deal, as there is a much better online wishlist out there. My friend Natalie used this for her baby shower registry, and years later I was still thinking about how great this site was. So I asked her, and she sent me the name of the website: The Things I Want.
This website is awesome, because it allows you to compile a wishlist from any online retailer anywhere on the internet. If they sell it, you can link to it through this site. I am totally in love. On my wishlist I have books from Barnes & Noble, perfume from BPAL, Serenity collectibles from TFAW, and t-shirts from Threadless. I absolutely love the freedom this wishlist compiler offers. Do you know how liberating it is to compile a wishlist of items not offered through Amazon? Seriously, I am really pleased.
So yeah, just thought I'd pass the info on to any of you who might be interested.
