Fall down go boom

Yesterday we took the kid to the playground to ride on the swings. I fell down and turned my ankle something fierce. Yesterday it wasn't terrible at first, but as the day went on it got worse and worse. Last night I could barely walk on it. This morning my ankle is all swollen worse than yesterday, so I'm staying home and going to the doctor. Thankfully we have crutches left over from the Scientist's ankle injury that happened several years ago.

Still, this sucks. I don't really want to go to work, but I don't like being incapacitated, either. I guess it's a good day for catching up on Game of Thrones...
