Aug. 30th, 2014 05:38 amLast night the Scientist and I were watching a few episodes of BBC's The Musketeers after VEE went to bed. I'm really enjoying this show. I think I'm about six episodes in (we just watched the kidnapped baby episodes last) and it's really lots of fun. So anyway, last night I was actually paying attention to the opening credits, and one of the names rang a bell for me. I looked up Santiago Cabrera, because I knew I knew that name from somewhere. Lo and behold, Artemis is played by the same guy who played Isaac on season one of Heroes. Yeah, yeah, minor character, whatever. BUT the reason I remember this guy is because I met him once in Des Moines, Iowa. Remember years ago, how me,
xica_s,
mei_x, and
fava_bean all went to Des Moines to see Robbie Williams' not-close-to-pro LA soccer team play an exhibition game? Santiago was on that team.
xica_s was all excited to see him and he was extremely surprised that someone would fangirl over him. I remember there was a cute picture of the two of them together. So now I'm all happy to watch The Musketeers because I've met Artemis and he was really nice.
In other news, it's 5:36 on a Saturday morning and I'm wide awake. My husband was up at 4:30 to head to Michigan to help his aunt with house painting. I'm up because I couldn't sleep after her left, and in 23 minutes I'm supposed to drive my sister-in-law J to the airport. I just hope that VEE sleeps in the car and isn't up for the rest of the day...
