God, I'm loving this. The fact that The Daily Show is pretty much the only "news" show my father—a middle-aged, caucasian, retired REPUBLICAN—can handle really shows just what Fox News knows. And how much The Daily Show rocks. God, I love Jon Stewart. I need an icon.

Bwahaha! Oh man, I just read the transcript from Jon on Bill O'Reilly a couple of days ago, and ... I mean, O'Reilly gives me rage blackouts on a good day. Dicking around with Jon Stewart? Gets you Homicidal Maniac Abby. GAH.

I'm sorry, but O'Reilly thinks it's "scary" that Jon Stewart influences a part of the electorate? O'Reilly's influence is enough to send me screaming into the night. I love how glib he is about this - it's the exact same self-assured but 100% fact-free ignorant attack Fox News always levels at "liberals." Gah. Blood. Boiling....

And there are not sufficient drugs in this world to get me through an hour of the O'Reilly Factor. Jeebus, what a dickwad.

*sniff* I wish I had cable. I loved Jon Stewart when he just had a late-night talk show. Prolly even had a slight crush on the guy, for all I know. I've seen him in bits and pieces of "The Daily Show" when I've been over at other people's places. Hmmm, maybe I can get cable when I move out... Just for him...
