eee1313Well, that was a satisfying conclusion to Related, be it the season finale or the series finale. That show is like a little 1 hour chick flick every week, but with better jokes.
Ann and Danny, back together! Yay! That makes me so happy. I love them. I'm so glad that during the final montage o' sisters, while Rose was all knockin boots with ...Joel (wow, forgot his name. Yeah, he's memorable), Ann and Danny were just talking. I want those crazy kids to work it out. As for Ginnie and Bob, what the fuck? Seriously, Ginnie's a dumbass. fava_bean pointed out, all these girls want someone like their dad, and here Ginnie's got the closest thing to the type of guy her dad is, and she blows it. Hmph. As for Marjee and Jason, I'm glad she didn't move in with him. It wouldn't have worked out. And he shouldn't have moved in with Ann and Marjee in the first place. Bad Idea Jeans. Finally, there's Rose and Joel. You can tell I really couldn't care less. (That's why I don't really belong on relatedwb, because it's all teen girls squeeing over Joel, and I'm all "It's all about Danny, you fools! You'll understand when you're older. I'm the GWeezer, dammit, listen to my sage advice!" Or something like that.) Oh, and I gotta say, I love their dad. Love. I love the actor, I love the character. Though I missed having Renee around, and if they're going to give us Patrick it's just a tease not to give us Wilson Cruz as well. I love that guy. It's like a My So-Called Life reunion when he's on the screen with the dad.
Anyway, yeah. I still say if they had paired this with Gilmore Girls the show would be a modest hit. Unfortunately I doubt it will make it to the CW next year. Phooey.
