eee1313BAD: I had to go contest a parking ticket, and found out that I can't apply for 24/7 parking unless someone gives their spot to me.
GOOD: I was nice to the lady at city hall, and she printed out THEIR records to show I had a permit so I can hand it in with my complaint. And my neighbor Will said he might give up his spot, so I'm going to talk to him tonight.
BAD: I had to take time off work to take care of this.
GOOD: I got to drive around in the sunshine for a bit before going into the office.
BAD: When I arrived, I found everyone from my department had moved, leaving me all alone.
GOOD: I got to move, too, a day early.
BAD: My new spot is very noisy.
GOOD: My new spot also has a ton of room, and is much more bright.
BAD: My phone doesn't work.
GOOD: Ben & Jerry's is giving out free ice cream, and someone brought me a cone.
Overall, I really can't complain. Tonight is grocery shopping. Tomorrow is birthday dinner & doing laundry at the parents' house. Friday night is dinner at Rioja with Deb & Craig, BJ,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fava_bean, and boannan. That should be nice. Then Saturday some of the girls are coming over to hang out, drink, and eat pizza. I will be making cupcakes. We may watch Showgirls. Anyone have any suggestions for a Showgirls drinking game? Here are my ideas.
1) Drink whenever Nomi storms out in a huff.
2) Drink whenever the boobs on screen gross you out.
3) Drink whenever Crystal says "darlin'."
4) Drink whenever someone snorts coke.
5) Drink whenever someone says "Andrew Carver."
6) Chug when you see Kyle McLauchlan's butt.
