Weird dreams and bad movies

It is snowing again here in Chicagoland. Not real snow that piles up and makes things pretty and/or treacherous, just snow fluttering around in the air. Too bad it's so damn cold. Oh well. Chicago winters build character! I'll just keep reminding myself that when there's a negative windchill.
Last night the Scientist and I watched the latest Family Guy version of Star Wars. This one parodies The Empire Strikes Back, and it made me LOL several times. Not worth buying, but when Adult Swim eventually airs it, I'd recommend it. My favorite part was on Hoth, when an Empirial Walker was seen wearing Crocs. LOL!!! I need an icon of that.
I COULD NOT sleep last night. I fell asleep early, then woke up around midnight and both the Scientist and I watched Food Network till 1:30. I eventually fell back asleep, but he did not. He was literally up all night. Hopefully he's getting a solid nap in right now. But I digress: I had crazy-ass dreams last night. So first, my brain decided to create a movie for me to watch while I slept. It had something to do with Brad Pitt having magic coins that would bring him back from the dead. So a bunch of mobsters found out he was basically immortal (as long as he had the magic coins), and they blackmailed him into doing their dirty work, and he kept getting shot by rival gangs and cops and stuff, and had to rob banks for the mobsters and whatnot. It was actually a good dream, and unfortunately I woke up before the "movie" ended. Boo. Then I dreamt I was out somewhere with
deeablo and
spicedrum, and we ordered pizza with a few other girls. But then everyone ate the pizza and salad before I could serve myself, so instead I was stuck eating a bowl of hummus. Then we dropped by Madonna's house (because she lived nearby, in a townhome next to a bar called "Sleeves"), and she didn't want to hang out with us, so we called
embitca to tell her about how Madonna is so stuck up. Weird.
In other news, I cannot wait for this week to be over. I'm taking Friday off work so that I can sleep in late, as B-Fest begins Friday evening. Wooooooo! I'm actually excited about (most of) the lineup this year. Some of the movies I've never seen but always meant to (like Buckaroo Bonzai and Gymkata), and then others I've seen before and am excited to share the pain with a crowd. Strangely enough, the two movies recently shown at Movie Dictator are on the roster. I predict lots of unhappy screaming during the former, and lots of laughter during the latter.
Anyway, that's all I've got.
