You know what makes me laugh? When my baby farts. It sounds like there's a tiny tuba in her diaper. I laugh every time.

That's awesome. My nephew just discovered his farts, so to speak, and thinks they are the funniest thing ever, especially in the bath, with the bubbles.

My ex-mother in law used to say "Did you make a fluffy?" when my (then) infant niece would fart. Based on the smell, there was nothing *fluffy* about it. LOL

OMG, funniest thing all day! Now I'm thinking of Geoff Peterson, Craig's robot sidekick, who always ends sentences with "in my pants." I want to e-mail Craig to ask if Geoff has ever had a tuba in his pants. If I do, can I quote you? ::makes puppydog eyes::

Heh. We have a Tummy Tub (http://www.tummytubusa.com/) for the baby, though we have yet to use it. (We had to wait for her belly button to "mature," so to speak.) Anyway, one of the selling points of the Tummy Tub is that it reduces colic by encouraging farts in the tub. I laughed so hard that I cried when I saw a video of a baby farting in the tub.

They really do kill off our aversions nicely, don't they? I'm one who can't stand bad smells- but I could tolerate my kids' diapers and various other bodily stenches without compunction.

Sigh. I miss nursing smiles. You know, that open-mouthed tongue-quivering sated smile they do after a feed? That is the sweetest smile imaginable to me.
