See if your local library (or library system) has Secrets of the Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg. She's a genius. One of my friends recommended it to us (she's a school psychologist, so can usually sniff out the crappy advice books), and it really worked well for us with lots of tips and solid advice. At least, in our experience, she was never wrong.
Good luck, Eeper-- remember, she'll be okay if you have to shut the doors and walk away for a bit. And in the end, you want to be able to do just that, but for longer than "a bit" anyway.
