Steam is awesome

eee1313This is not a post about steampunk stuff. This is a post about steam cleaning. My husband got a steam mop on sale two weekends ago, and this is the first time it's been used. Holy Pete, this thing is great! You should see our tile, it's beautiful! I can't believe I'm excited about cleaning, but this is the easiest and best cleaning job I've done in forever. Hot damn.
In other news, I took today off to get stuff done. I ran errands this morning: to Sam's Club to pick up a Christmas gift, then to a local store to get a coworker's gift for her son (the store is 3 minutes from my house, 40 from hers). After that to IKEA to get a gift for VEE from my sister and her husband, as well as a few stuffed animals for Toys for Tots. FYI, IKEA gives to UNICEF children's education for every stuffed toy bought, so buying these for Toys for Tots gets you a double charity boost. Next to the city hall to drop those off, then to the library, and finally to the post office to mail a small package. Would you believe it took longer to get through the post office line than it did to get in and out of IKEA? Anyway, I feel all productive.
But now the floors should be dry enough thst I can walk on them and get to the bathroom to clean it. Happy Friday the 13th, everyone!
