Today's blog. Also, I forgot to mention that I watched A Mighty Wind this weekend, which was kind of a disappointment. Definitely not as good as Waiting for Guffman or Best in Show. Although Eugene Levy was freaking brilliant in the movie. Also, it was fun to watch my mom squirm through the whole thing. She hates folk music more than anything. Ha!

I also watched more of The $treet that [livejournal.com profile] taraljc loaned me. Damn, but that show is soap opera goodness! I love it! Hopefully tonight I'll finish it. Although I really do need to get that Angel recap done for PanFan. Seriously, if my editor doesn't beat me to death at this point, I'll be surprised.

Nope. My sister and her husband are all hooked up with the computer. However, I won't be able to check it often, or for very long, seeing as how she gets reeeeeeeally annoyed by that. "Get offline! You should be spending time with me!" And to an extent, she's right. Although I will want to check in from time to time.

Um, assume much?

You THINK we're going to let you use the computer. You thunk wrong. The good news is that you're sleeping in the room with the old computer, so (if you can get it up and running, that is) you can be online all night long for all we care, as long as you're all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning. Oh no-- some ditz on E! just said Whitney Houston is a great role model for women over 40. Um, for crack-whore, diva, smack-my-bitch-up women over 40, maybe...

Sing to the tune of the Greatest American Hero theme:

Believe it or not, you're sleeping on air...

Yeah, A Mighty Wind didn't quite work for me, either. I think part of it was that Eugene Levy was so sympathetic and sad that you really couldn't laugh at him, and he jarred with more comedic elements in the film. Also, the Kingston Trio-y group wasn't coherently funny enough, plotwise, though played by funny guys.
