I got sucked into watching Playing By Heart too. Odd bit of coincidence, that -- especially as I hadn't seen it before. And yeah, it was all about Jon Stewart/Gillian Anderson, and Ryan/Angelina (and I'd forgotten how how I think Ryan Phillippe is. Shameful that). They were great. The Sean Connery thing? I'm sorry, but loving someone else when you're married is far greater a betrayal than just fucking someone. Slimebucket.
