I need this movie on DVD. And Anne of Avonlea. I can skip the continuing story altogether. Blech! Dumb.

Went to the parents' house yesterday to hang out with Grandma while the parents and Aunt Julie were gone. Watched the first four episodes of Felicity, which means I can finally return that disc to Netflix. I'm now in love with Noel Crane eight million times over again, even if he does have a girlfriend named Hannah (damn you, Jennifer Garner!) who goes to Northwestern. *sigh* Noel is dreeeeeamy. I also made a trip to my old comic store, only to find they no longer carry the Buffy comic. Yes, I read the Buffy comic, what of it? Shut up. Anyway, they don't have any of the new ones, including "Tales of the Vampires," which I really wanted. But I did get a few back issues which finished up the "Stake to the Heart" storyline, and I got them all with the creepy art covers, so I am a happy girl. Yay!

Then Shannon came over and we made cards with all of her stamping supplies. (She works at a scrapbooking store.) It was fun. I'm still not sure why I enjoy making cards and stuff, but I hate scrapbooking. Strange, huh? We watched Iron Chef America and "eeeech"ed over the trout ice cream. Then we ate sushi. Mmmmm, sushi! Then the parents came home. Now I'm sitting here in my jammies at 1:15 in the afternoon, thinking that I need to get up and get ready, as the parents will be coming by any time between 4:45 and 5:00 to pick me up so we can go to Tapas Barcelona for dinner. Yawn! I'm still so tired...

Yeah, but they TOTALLY screwed one of my Canadian flist friends (dionneshea? abby20?) and because they were so rude and horrible, I've sworn never to use PowerStar to buy anything again. I think I'll go through Things from Another World to get what I need.

So now I feel bad because I ordered like, fifty dollars worth of stuff from there a few weeks ago. (Thanks a lot!) In my defense, though, I don't know where else I would have gotten Buffy bumper stickers.

Actually, I had a bit of a problem with them, too. My imported CD wasn't shrink-wrapped, which is apparently the custom abroad, but I didn't know that. The little things in the middle that hold the CD were mostly broken off, and the CD was falling out. Also, the liner notes were a bit bent. I wrote a letter to ask if it was used, and they were like, "That's how they do it, sheltered American girl. But we'll replace it if you INSIST, even though it'll be the same way." I'm paraphrasing.

I got replacement holders and never responded.

Euf, I totally agree about The Continuing Story. That was one movie I feel we could so do without, but alas, I know some people who really liked it, so *shrug* Just not my thang, I guess. :P

I love Anne. I have the first movie on vhs, but would like to get it (and AoA) on dvd. The continuing story? Bleah. Terrible. Once, a little girl (8) asked me if I named Monkey after the little boy in the Continuing Story. I was all, "Heck no, and that movie stinks. Go read the books." She said she didn't like reading. *sigh* What's this world coming to?

I have some Buffy comics, too. And love Noel Crane. Ben is stupid.
