Me: If it weren't for the Firefly movie I'd write him a letter and tell him he's a big lying fuck!

canadia_bit: I liked it - the fight goes on. It's all symbolic and shit

Okay, so I liked this. I really, really did. This was good. This was the ending "Chosen" should have been over on Buffy. This was good. I don't like the fact that it just ENDED, but at the same time, that's how I would have ended it. You know Angel would go out fighting. And you KNOW Wes would die. It was, for this show, perfect. It's just that I didn't realize how invested I was in this show until it ended, you know? I'm just ... Really, now that the screaming is over (because there WAS screaming), I'm speechless.

Clark needs to stop being such a bitch, Lex needs to stop touching Lana, and that ENDING? Chloe! Gabe! With the blowing up! I was sooooo not expecting that. And naked Tom Welling? Yes, please!

Konczal! Hi! Wow, how are you? Dude, I haven't heard from you in forever! How's life? Where are you? What are you up to? Can you tell I get excited when random old friends show up and post in my journal? ;)

I'm positive that they knew this was it for the show, and that they weren't going to be renewed no matter what. They got the news about 2/3 of the way through the season, I believe, and so while they claim they didn't change the course of the season to tie up loose ends, it seems to me that's all a lie. There was talk of a cast member from Buffy coming over to Angel for a bit, and from what I understand that was supposed to be Willow (to get Fred back). There was also a rumor that Nina the werewolf girl was introduced because Oz would return on a guest stint for a little while, to guide her through controlling the wolf. Beats me where the hell I read that, or how true that might be, but that was out there. So while this supposedly leaves room open for TV movies or whatnot, that's about 99.99% positive it's not going to happen. So feh on the WB, and feh on Joss for giving us such a huge, yet also totally anticlimactic, ending. That is, if he intentionally did that because he was so disillusioned with the network for cancelling his show.
