Fandom worlds colliding!

Okay, so IMDb has updated the cast list for Serenity. There are so many actors in this movie who've been in other projects I love. First off, there's Michael Hitchcock from Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind. Then there's David Krumholtz, who played Neil's older brother Barry on Freaks and Geeks (and will be in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, which also stars Neil Patrick Harris). Then there's Erik Weiner, who was in an episode of The $treet with none other than my imaginary husband, Sean Maher. Then there's Tamara Taylor, who guested on Everwood. Then there's Ryan Tasz, who not only was in an episode of Buffy, he was in the episode that prominently featured Christopher Gorham from Jake 2.0 and Odyssey 5.

Seriously, all of my little fandoms are all rolling together into one big giant fangirly dream that will be Serenity. Seriously, I am going to DIE when this movie comes out. Only 295 days left!

Oooh! I was gonna tell you, Daniel Dae Kim is in Spider-Man 2. It's not a big part, but still, enough to go, "Oh! Hey! It's Daniel Dae Kim!"

Jer sent me something recently, too, about fandoms colliding. There's going to be a new Justice League-type series (you know, the one that Michael Rosenbaum voiced The Flash for), but using different characters. Gina Torres is contracted to do one of them.
