Need something to do on Friday?

Hey Chicagoans! I thought I'd let you know about this, as you never know who'd be interested. My coworker Aimee is taking belly dance lessons, and she informed me that her teacher performs at Sigara's this Friday at 10 p.m. The place is a hookah bar, which I thought might appeal to some of you. Also, it's BYOB, which I thought you'd want to know in case you go. Anyway, just letting you know of something a little different for your Friday night.

In other news, my throat still hurts a lot. Bah! Stupid sore throat! I'm now sucking back Ricola herb throat drops like crazy. What fun.

Horrid.

Am feeling absolutely gross. The throat still hurts, despite the medicine. The tummy hurts now, due to too many Ricola. The ears are stuffed and ringing, which is new and not fun. I am rather dizzy, which is fun when self-induced by spinning, but not when you just want to relax.

Went to Whole Foods and got some Throat Coat tea, which made me feel wonderful when I had it yesterday. Also picked up some butternut squash soup and a big French baguette, which will be my dinner. Also, some lemon cookies for dessert. Because dammit, I wanted 'em. Chugged some kind of immunity-boosting juice smoothie on the way home. Now I want another. I need more juice!
