Over on Gapers Block, the question of the day about Blagojevich. Specifically, what poetry could he read at his next press conference? Some people are making up their own poems, some are writing poems about him, some are offering real poems that apply to the situation. But my favorite so far is this redo of the famous William Carlos Williams poem.

the tax dollars
that were
in your coffers

and which
you were probably
saving
for starving children or some shit

so corrupt

The fact that I got to chapter 26 of 29 before I started to lose my mind is in itself a miracle. But I'm still losing my mind.

My boss said this day would come. My boss is a wise man.

I'm going to lunch. My brain needs a rest.

Remember how two days before Christmas, our stupid furnace went out? Yeah, guess what happened again? And of course, once again, the Scientist is at work. I swear, that furnace knows when I'm alone to deal with it.
