Today at work is killing me. First, Photoshop decided it wanted to quit working. None of the buttons or commands worked. Two hard reboots later, and I'm back in business. Now I'm doing art for the last chapter of this book. I have approximately 40 pages of layout in which to cram 35 pages of manuscript and 40+ illustrations. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Our print purchaser is going to kill someone, because this chapter will bump the book up another signature. That will put this book at 1,040 pages. OUCH. But whatever, it ain't my problem. If they want me to cut pages, fine, but since we sent the rest of the book to the indexer already, that will have to be redone. And that will mean this book will be even MORE behind schedule. Fun times at work, people!

To top it off, I have a killer headache behind the eyes, which makes me think my computer glasses aren't cutting it any longer. AND both of my wrists hurt like mofos. I need to see a doctor about this. I'm fairly certain it's carpal tunnel setting in. However, thanks to this article I'm now aware of why my legs are all tingly. I looked into alternate seat options, and the Swopper stool they mention costs $500+. Ouch. What I wouldn't give for a more ergonomic desk, one where my monitor is at the correct height, and using the (ergonomic) keyboard and mouse don't make my shoulder hurt.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, right?
