I finally managed to download the video for Robbie's "Millenium." This was what got me hooked on the Robbie bandwagon in the first place. Robbie as 007! How can you not love this?

I swear, I need to get Quicktime Pro so I can make eight million icons of Robbie. Robbie looking sexy in his tux! Robbie with his Aston Martin! Robbie on a boat with an Ursula Andress-wannabe! I love it!

And how could I forget Robbie as an astronaut, and Robbie with his malfunctioning jet pack, and Robbie doing the "come and get it" gesture? Ugh! I love him even more now!

Question which is possibly stupid or possibly helpful, depending on the answer: Is there something special about the format of this video that prevents you from grabbing screencaps out of regular free QuickTime? Because I've found that good old copy/paste works for capping out of QT, every time I've tried. If there's some special encoding on this video that I've never encountered, preventing it, then never mind.

I'm not sure if it's different because I'm on a Mac, or what the deal is. Screengrabs don't seem to want to work for me. Phooey!

I'm on a Mac. So that doesn't account for the trouble.

Are you trying to use another program to actually capture the screen? Because what I'm talking about is just pausing playback and choosing copy from the edit menu. You know, easiest thing in the world. Unless of course it doesn't work.

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help.

Also useful to know? You can advance frame by frame using the arrow keys. I didn't figure that out until annoyingly late in the process of capping for my Puppet Angel mood theme.
