How to respond?

eee1313So y'all know by now how the bosses are requiring the department to work an extra hour overtime until September 30, right? Well, I just got the following e-mail from the 2nd-in-command:
I need your revised schedules before the end of the day. Thank you.
Okay. This is totally normal and fine, right? Yeah, well, I'm so fucking annoyed by this whole situation that I've come up with many responses to this. How's about:
I'd like to think that you trust us to all be adults and work the required hours without having to know in advance what shift we'll be working. I'll put in my nine hours, but I feel it's completely derogatory to require us to tell you when we'll be sacrificing this extra hour of our day. Install punchcards and a timeclock if you don't trust us to be professionals.
Or possibly:
Because it is required of me, I will be working from 8 until 5. However, once I factor in my drive time, I will actually be working an 11+ hour day. Will this extra time be compensated for next month when our annual reviews come around? Oh, and will we have advance warning of said reviews this year so that we can properly prepare any complaints or concerns we have about the company? Also, will we be allowed follow-ups to our reviews so that we can rebutt any comments made?
Or even:
I will work 8 to 5, but I can guarantee I won't enjoy sacrficing my personal time for a company which I don't feel will adequately reward and/or compensate me for this loss of my private life.
Or my favorite:
Why doesn't someone stop creating hellacious work production schedules with unrealistic deadlines and learn how to be a better fucking manager so that I don't have to waste my time making up for his perpetual mistakes? This is bullshit, pure and simple.
Instead, I responded simply:
8 to 5.
Because, like Peter Gibbons, I am a pussy. That's why I work at ATP in the first place.
