Okay, did any of you watch The Secret Garden on the Hallmark Hall of Fame when you were a kid? The one with Derek Jacobi? Okay, I loved this when I was a kid. It turns out fava_bean has a copy, which she just watched with our friend Colleen. The scene at the end, when Mary returns to the garden, and grown-up Colin is there? Dude. That's Colin Firth. GUH!!! I so have to borrow this movie from her. I've been wanting to re-watch it for forever, anyway. Dude.

fava_bean is informing me that watching this movie as an adult isn't the same as watching it as a kid. I guess it's cheesey, and uses the music waaaaay too much. But still, Colin Firth! We didn't appreciate THAT as kids!

Oooh, I don't think I've seen the movie, but I read the book. (Okay, that's SO backwards, coming from me.) But I just added it to my Netflix queue. (I even watched the trailer, cool.) Thanks for the alert!

Dude, really? I have this! Uhh, somewhere. I know I do. I loved this when I was young but I remember when she met Colin and was sneaking around the dark house and it scared the crap outta me.
