eee1313I just rearranged my desk at work. Unplugged the computer, moved everything around, plugged it all back in. Why? Because earlier today when I tried to upload the copy of Robbie's Intensive Care that I burned for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fava_bean last night, it wouldn't play properly. All sketchy and skippy. I figured it was because the CPU was on its side, which isn't the way this CPU was meant to sit. (It's not a tower unit.) Anyway, I just ripped everything apart, plugged it all back in, and it still won't upload the disc properly. Sonofa... I was certain it was the CPU and not my disc, especially considering the disc plays just fine on the external burner. Stupid CD. Now I have no new Robbie at work. :(
That said, I have a whole lot more room on my desk now, so that's good at least. Plus, there's more cube wall space, so I can hang more junk up at my desk. So far there's a mini shrine to my nephew (yes,spicedrum, I know it's no U2 shrine like what you're rocking), some photos of my friends, my cat, and my uncle, and now the Clerks and Jay & Silent Bob have more room to chill. I might have to bring in Brodie & Rene, too.
I just took a half hour to watch my coworker's presentation on his week in India. It was pretty neat. However, that's a half hour of my day I'm not getting back. I think I've resigned myself to the idea of putting in overtime all next week...
Also, I just have to say that I think this is one of my most favorite icons ever. Thanks again,raebird.
