After following some links on the_cortex tonight, I came across info that the DVDs of Serenity are already up for sale in some stores in NYC. Lucky. But the more important thing is this: people were talking about the gag reel on the DVD (possibly the Easter egg), and commented on how it's not as long as the other "full 15 minute" gag reel. WTF? There's already a gag reel floating around, and no one told me? I just checked on LimeWire to see if it could be found, and alas, it doesn't appear to exist there. However, I did discover that there's a porno starring women named Serenity, Jewel, and Summer. That was SO NOT what I was looking for.

Anyway, if any of y'all actually have info on where I might be able to find the full gag reel, please let me know. Because the original Firefly gag reel was so much better than the one on the DVD. I'd like to think this elusive 15 minute gag reel is better, too.

There's an "extended" gag reel for Firefly, and I was thinking it may be what you're looking for. It has, among many other things that don't appear on the DVD, a "Love Boat" sequence.

*sighs* it's not floating around, sadly.

At Serenity Squared, the UK convention two weeks ago, Nathan brought a copy of the gag reel from Serenity. And I guess the one on the dvd is shorter than that. And sadly, it hasn't made it online yet (I don't know if it will, as I'm pretty sure the first one was made available because Adam sent it to Lux). I do hope ot does, cause yeah, the full Firefly one was way better than what showed up on the DVD...

Thanks so much! I was wondering, seeing as how people were referencing "TRAAAAAAAAP!" or something. I appreciate the info. Hopefully the longer gag reel will somehow surface out there one way or another. (Browncoats are nothing if not resourceful and generous!)
