Color = good

I found this article on CNN, and it made me happy. Gee, bright colors make for happier people? Go figure! My high school had lovely cinderblock walls that were painted either pale yellow or pale green. We had no windows, either. No, really, there were NO WINDOWS in my high school. Just in two main stairwells, and the art classrooms. You wonder why I took four art classes a day my senior year. Not coincidentally, that was the year I got the best grades. While that's probably due more to padding my schedule with art, I think I was a lot easier for me to go to school every day when I was allowed to see sunlight and colors. Sheesh.
Anyway, yeah, just an interesting bit about how color affects our psyches. I'm always amazed at how people don't pay attention to stuff like that. There's a reason why fast food colors are always in reds and yellows. If advertisers pay attention to color to manipulate us, I can't imagine why people don't carry this over into other parts of life.
Also, I just snarfed down a slice of pizza, and now I want another. Me hungry!
