Day off, yay!

eee1313So it's Day Two of the infamous Six Day Weekend. Yesterday I stayed home and cleaned. Didn't leave the apartment once. It's nice. Last night CAB came over late, and we hung/made out until late. Never got around to watching Sahara, which he brought over because he knew I wanted to see it. But he left it for me so that I could give it back to him later. Yay, there will be another date! Also, he's now driving a Mercedes. That's one fun thing about dating a guy who works for a car dealership--he always has really hot cars. I'm usually not one to get all hot-n-bothered over vehicles, but dayum, if that ain't a sweet car. Mmmmm.

fava_bean is at the gym doing her PT excercises before her PT massage, and then she's going to come over here. We're going Christmas shopping, as I just found out that all of my cousins are coming to town the day after Christmas. So now Monday is Family Day, and I need to buy presents for the kids (possibly in conjunction with Yakgirl and Poo-flung; I'll have to call them). fava and I might grab lunch, too. Tonight I'm heading over to my parents' house, as I have to pick up the gifts for the high school gang that were shipped to their house. Also, I need Mom's recipe for lasagna, as well as her awesome gooey chocolate cake that you make with coffee. Mmmmmm. Mom called this morning to ask when I was coming out, as Grandma isn't doing well. It seems she fell again yesterday. Thankfully her recent falls haven't resulted in any broken hips/pelvises like before. But it's not a good sign that she's having this many problems. Mom thinks having me around will cheer her up. I hope so.
Tomorrow morning I'm doing the grocery shopping, and then Deb is coming over to hang during the day while I clean my kitchen and cook. We haven't seen each other in quite a while, so that will be nice. Then tomorrow fava and BJ will be joining me and Deb for dinner, and to exchange presents. Oh, crap! I'm going to have to get out the Christmas china and wash it! That was the whole point of the high school gang dinner party. Erk.
Saturday I'll be at Mom & Dad's all day, presumably helping to get gifts wrapped, bake more cookies, and do early dinner prep work. Then Sunday is Christmas, which should be pretty low-key. And Monday is the day the cousins come to town. So that's my schedule. There's a lot to do!
