My dinner party tonight was a raging success. The lasagna was good, the wine was good, the mocha coffee cake was good, the conversation was good. And when we exchanged gifts, I got a copy ofethrosdemon's book. Yay! Now I have reading material in case there's downtime (which I doubt, but still).
Much love to my many, many friends, from high school to strangers I've met through LJ and longtime online friends. Y'all are great, and your friendship over the past weeks/months/years/decades means a lot. Thanks. :D
And now, off to wrap up the leftovers, and then to bed. Tomorrow's going to be a long day.
