VEGAS, BABY!

Well, Deb just booked tickets. I am officially going to Las Vegas this July. WOOOOOO! Thanks to everyone who gave input/advice on my poll a few days ago. Your tips came in handy. Of course, half of you thought hotels sucked that other ones loved, so I actually had to make a list with checkmarks and such. It was all very complicated. In the end we went with the MGM Grand, which some of you love and some of you hate. But the rooms were bigger, and we could get it (a 4-star hotel) for only $11 more than the Luxor (a 3-star hotel), and this one has the monorail, so there you are. YAY! VEGAS!

In other news, I'm going to my parents' house tonight to watch the finale of Project Runway with my mom. Last year I watched the finale alone, and I kept calling her during every commercial break to dish on the designs/rag on people. It was fun. This year should be more fun. Dad, of course, will run away. Smart man.

I can't believe I forgot to mention this in your other post, but if you can at all possible go to Hamburger Mary's, DO IT. The food is decent, but you totally need to go for all the hot waiters and the very, very, very (very!) gay karaoke.

BWA! While Deb and I would be totally down for that, I don't think the guys would enjoy it very much. Stupid boys. Maybe we can convince them to go to a boobie-show, and we could go to this place. Heh.

Yaye for Las Vegas! I'm looking into planning my own vacay soon. I totally need a break. My requirements? Warmth, alcohol, and far away from my desk. Not too hard right?

And I totally think Santino will win. And if this is based solely on their fashion week collections? He totally deserves it. I've seen the colletions and Chloe's is weird and I've though her designs were safe and boring all season. I loved her "clothes off our back" dress and thats about the only piece of heres that made an impression. And Daniel? I love Daniel to bits and pieces and I really love his collection too. But Santino's rocks the casbah. I think he should have been kicked off episodes ago, but since he's here, he deserves it.

Sad thing is, my favorite collection was totally the decoy collection. Saddens me a bit.

There was a decoy collection this year? Like what they did last year with Austin Scarlet? I've been a good kid and have stayed away from spoilers completely, so I'm totally excited to see the final products. Yay!

You know, I can't remember a single one of Chloe's outfits, really. But you know which one I remember perfectly? Andrae's awesome gutter-water dress. God, that was gorgeous.

Santino's an ass, even while trying to control himself better after seeing how he looked on the show, but his collection is damn good. Based on how he stepped up to the plate for the final challenge, he should win.

No wonder my dad is all excited about Yakpoo. Not only does he have a grandchild, there's finally another male that shares his bloodline. Poor Dad, in a house full of women for the last 30 years.
