I had lunch today with
aninnocent, who is super nice and cool and friendly and hopefully we'll do it again soon. She lives in a neighborhood I frequent, so hopefully she can give me more advice on good restaurants and stuff, too. Rock on. I'm glad she suggested lunch. Hopefully I didn't come off as a weirdo or anything.
I found out Radiohead tickets are being sold only in twos. I already told
fishdoctorpost that I can't buy her a ticket, as I already told Gail from work I'd go with her. But seriously, TWO??? That's it? Dang. So who knows if I'll even be able to get tickets. Yakgirl, this may work out in your favor.
And then there's TV. Seriously, why do I even care about this show any more. Lex is part T2 now? Lana's mad at Clark again? Zzzzzzzz. It's pretty bad when I actually find myself looking forward to the Lionel and Martha scenes. Lionel and Martha, people. Ugh. Boring. Next.
I love Dean Winchester. The end. Except not "the end," because I need to talk about the end of the show. Now, I like this show. I hope it gets renewed on the CW. But if it doesn't, and that's it? Way to go out on a bang! Look, everyone's dead! Hope you enjoyed the show! Mwa ha ha ha ha! Except it probably will get renewed, and then it will be all Sam's in a coma and has visions of his dead ex-girlfriend Moleface and then we find out Dean is partially paralyzed or something because come on, they have to make him even MORE of a woobie, and he'll be all GRRRRR! and sexy and we'll all wish we were the nurse giving him a sponge bath. Er, wait...
I flipped back and forth between this and Supernatural, and I have to say that they can't transfer Jim! Noooooo! I love Jim. Jim and Pam. They need to make up and be friends and crack jokes again together. Because I say so. Anyway, this show continues to be awesome in many, many ways, and I wish it wasn't up against Supernatural, because I want to watch both, dammit.
And now I'm going to bed, because last night I meant to go to bed early but stayed up till midnight and it was stupid and I woke up a half hour late. Whoops. And for the record, The Mummy Returns is currently on TV and I'm not watching it. I just thought I needed to let y'all know that for ONCE I'm not watching it.

Date: 2006-05-05 12:20 pm (UTC)In the interest of full disclosure, I totally DID. In my own defense it was during commercial breaks of the Bulls game but I did see most of it!
